About This Project
Vexis Music channels the raw energy of underground electronic music into a web experience. The pure black background with electric red accent creates an immediately aggressive visual identity that resonates with the techno and industrial music audience. This is not a site designed to please everyone — it is designed to electrify the right people.
The brutalist typography is intentionally oversized at 15-18vw, filling the viewport with the artist name in a way that references warehouse rave flyers and punk zines. The CSS glitch effect on the hero text adds digital distortion that mirrors the audio aesthetic. A noise/grain overlay across the entire body creates the film-stock texture associated with underground club visuals.
The horizontal scroll discography breaks conventional vertical scrolling patterns, creating a physical browsing gesture that mirrors flipping through vinyl in a record store. Gig-poster style show listings are designed to feel like event flyers pinned to a venue wall — high contrast, essential information only, maximum urgency. The Boiler Room video placeholder section anticipates the primary content format for electronic music artists.
